Now you see me sylph daily at sub-50

This is the invisibility quest for the sylphs where you retrieve artifacts.

Im trying to do this quest at level 47 and I can get from flower to flower just fine without running out of time, but certain flowers are surrounded by level 41 or so mobs. If I get too close to them, like 5 yalms, they aggro me and pull me out of invisibility making me have to start all over.

Is this something that happens to you if your level 50, or is this just an oversight by the dev team concerning sub 50 characters doing dailies?

It's not a big deal as I will level up soon enough but this quest is all but impossible since several of the flowers are surrounded by mobs and its not like i can wait around till they leave or clear them all before hand.

It happens to 50's also.

Thats extremely stupid.

I get making dailies monotonous or boring, or even making them slightly challenging would be interesting for a change, but this is just frustrating. Its not something a player can even control because they place the nodes in the middle of mobs.

I've only seen it happen when there is a pet out, so try it without the summon.

Your egi/fairy is the one getting you aggro - I used to do these quests as a SMN and they drove me insane until I did one as a BRD one day and realized I wasn't picking up any enemies - felt so dumb that it took me that long to realize...

Yeah I eventually tried it with no pet and it was much easier. Didn't even think about it at first lol

Soloing play hide and seek with a lof of mobs plus random fate is challenging.

I stopped doing sylph altogether because of this quest. I never even touched the other one.

Rule of thumb: if it's the daily that makes you invisible, dismiss your pet = easymode.
If it's the quest that keeps you visible but just gives you stuff to carry: bring Titan Egi out = easymode.

Titan egi works wonders at soloing the stupid level 45-47 mobs that constantly try and aggro you during the carry quests.
