Request: Please allow us to change the transparency of the chat box

I would really like the ability to change the transparency of the chat box. Ideally, I would like a nice solid background through which I can view text opposed to a transparent one that has problems with the environment, at times, when attempting to read your log.

Usually in MMOs I change the transparency to 0% and have a nice black background to work with. In 11, we were given several skins for our chat box that ranged from dark to a little transparent. I was wondering why this wasn't included in the launch.

Anyone else feel this way or have problems reading the log at times?

In the same idea, i'd like to have active and passive transparency configuration :
- Chat log is active if there was a new message in the last X second (where X can be defined in the options)
- Chat log is passive after said X second.
X is counted only on the active chatlog.
Active/Passive mode or Standard mode can be selected in the options.

I would like to see this implemented as well. We can change the transparency of the PS3 chat log. Why not PC? My partner is visually impaired and wonders about this, too. It makes it very hard for him to read the PC log sometimes. I also agree with Aura's idea. An active/passive mode would be really nifty!
