Haven't logged in today played last night no issues got home from work and this is what I am getting.

The only option I get is to hit okay and it just closes the launcher. I tried dnsflush and ip release and renew incase it did something. I turned my modem off and on resetting it.
I tried as a last ditch effort to uninstall reinstall as my guild asked me a few times to try so I could raid etc since I main tank and I still can't update. Fix your launcher.
Try remove the FFXIV Config folder (in My Documents\My Games)
Hopefully you have saved a copy of the config, or at least rename the FFXIV folder to something else and start the game up. Could be corruption of the config file, also try empty out the Internet Explorer's cache - yes the game client uses IE for its web interface irregardless to your preferred browser.
