SCH cant use aero anymore?

A few days ago I suddenly was no longer able to cast Aero on my Scholar...and its very odd because the skill still lists SCH as one of the classes it can cross to...and i can still place it on my bar...but the moment I enter battle the skill greys out and when I try to cast it it says I am using an incorrect class. I was able to cast Aero just fine a week ago...and now this. Is anybody else having this issue? Are there any fixes? Thanks for reading ;w;.

Were you level capped and was Aero set in one of the right-most slots?

No, my Scholar is only like lvl 34. And its in the 5th slot from the left, so around the middle of my bar. Does the placement have something to do with it not working?

If you get into a level sync fight it will only allow you to have the cross class abilities for that level (ie. a level 15 player can only have 1 cross class skill iirc). It starts from the left on your list on what abilities you have set. So ya, placement matters in that case.

Yea but the thing is it will not allow me to use Aero even when I am not being level synced. It wont let me use it ever, and I have tried re-arranging it before o3o.

Yeah...this is not "called out" anywhere...you just kind of have to know. So you just put the most important from left to right. Go ahead and Dot em up...up...up...Dot em...up...up...up...I'm on fire....LOL

Did you try taking it off your cross class list and putting it back on? Then also replacing it on your macro palette?

A) Lodestone says your only combat class is Pugilist.
B) "5th slot from the left" on SCH would be your level 50 slot, which is impossible to have at level 34.

Something is inconstant here.

In any case. Classes (Arcanist) get cross-class slots every 5 levels (6 at 30, 7 at 35, 8 at 40, 9 45, 10 50) where jobs are every 10 (3 at 30, 4 at 40, 5 at 50).

By 5th from the left I think they mean their hot bar.

Yes I mean my hotbar...and I have many active classes. But I make a seperate character for each class, I am odd that way. The character I am using as my avatar only has Pugilist. My Scholar is on Faerie server and is one of many characters I own. Thank you all for trying to help me, I still cant get Aero to function, but maybe it will just fix itself XD;. Thanks again to all who tried to help.
