I saw a player get the drop from the second boss of CT and then drop party. Since they were on this server I wanted feedback.
I personally think it's wrong, selfish and we don't need players like that on our server. It ruins our reputation and actually hurts the players they made a commitment too. I also think SE should give a huge penalty (like 2 hrs) to some who does it.
But one person doesn't speak for a server - so feedback please.
Rude? A little. Wrong? Nope.
Seeing you cannot control a server to be what you see as wrong behavior. I find it a useless act to have server pride. Play with people you find fit your ideals,and be in guilds who show em too, but to want a whole server to represent you is not logical to ask for. Anyone who does feel one persons personal actions reflects a server is a asking for a bit much. No one persons action will ever speak for a server in an MMO.
On a side note, I must agree that leaving a pug raid for any reason, be it they are wiping a lot, you got loot, or real life called, is OK, the raid is filled pretty quickly in most cases.
They might have needed to actually leave and decided to just take whatever loot dropped and not worry about ct anymore that week. The reward at the end of the dungeon is usually worth staying for unless your capped in myth. I don't condone this, but if can think of circumstantial instances where someone would be better to leave too let someone else in.
