So I was playing pvp
I'be never met assholes really but pvp tales the cake. Finally wanted to try it & by god there is so much hate. I'm a WHM. Was queing up for all just for faster game time and less waiting.
So I went into pvp and someone already talking crap.
Now I know I might lose a few but I'm learning.
So any tips? I'be been doing the move to have me not interrupted. After that Swiftcast then repose on someone. Seems like a good strat.
I'm also thing about putting stun resistance in my clothes making sure I can still cast

I used to love PvP, especially when i used to play it in WoW...years ago people were cool, you would come across some great players and they would make lvl 1 toons on your server just to tell you what a great pvp match we gave them, sure you would come across some dudder with an attitude, as the years went by the player base just became toxic...good god did people lose their jelly beans at the slightest mistake, now i avoid pvp in every mmo...cause its usually about the same now with the attitude and smack talk...just isnt fun anymore. -_-

ye pvp is all blame healer if lose, since theres no tank really. i dont like pvp anyway in this game.
-
^yup. Its the dps mentality to blame the healer whenever they lose. Also don't buy stun resistance until your r30. best way to avoid interruptions is to use equanimity (20s) and surecast.

The blatant botting hurt PvP for me, most of these bots would be healer, and in PvP, having a skilled medic can make or break a team. That's why healers get a lot of criticism. Don't worry, other classes get it too. I was teamed up with a 3-man premade once, they were all to happy to blame me (Drg) for the loss, even though they didn't share their strategy with me until it was too late.

It's 100% SE's fault that people get bitched at and I'm not even kidding.
At 50 there are only two brackets; one for solo, duo, and 3 man teams, and one for 4 mans. People don't queue for 4 man for a few reasons. For one, the PvP community is insanely small and the UNREAL imbalance of SMN/BLM/SCH and SMN/SMN/SCH pre-2.15 turned away even the most hardcore PvPers. Really the only people left are those who power leveled to R30 when SMN 3-mans were unbeatable.
Thanks to the god awful interruption mechanics, 2.5s GCD, and animation locks, it's not possible to outplay people who significantly outgear you. This wouldn't be a problem if R30s only fought other R30s but there is no matchmaking. Due to the nonexistant 4v4 bracket the rank 30s all just play 2 or 3 man teams and end up spending 90% of their time facerolling PUGs in full PVE gear. When you queue up with 0 morale or even just 55 PvP gear by this point, you will get obliterated.
This situation is the equivalent of 1500 players getting queued up against 2600+ arena teams in WoW. The people who have slogged through this sh!t system for weeks and gotten themselves melded 70 PvP gear are understandably pissed when they see you joining with no gear. As soon as they see you they know the game will be a painful loss. It's shitty for you, it's shitty for them, and it ensures that no new PvPers will keep playing.

Dark Souls 2 in March. Look forward to it. I know I am :)

I played PvP too. With premade party 4/4 (we re not pvpers and we wanted to try few for fun, not even pvp gear .p so meh) we checked 30 and 40 lvl pvp on duty finder. then we waited over an half hour in popup window "reserving instance", after 30 minutes a friend summoned chocobo when we hunted treasure because of boredoom. puff , pvp was gone.
No thanks! no more pvp for us. To wait an half hour+ lol
This pvp system is an abomination. :p

I enjoyed DCUO and Neverwinter pvp but FFXIV pvp is just terrible. No one in my fc/ls does it.
