'Doubt Truth to be a Liar' incorrectly updates map objectives during quest

Steps:
1. Accepted Quest 'Doubt Truth to be a Liar' at Monument Tower X:7, Y:28
2. Interacted with quest object around X:9,Y:28, which spawned a fight. I do not remember what the item is called. It was a short sword? Garlean Shortsword maybe.
3. When fight completes, instead of quest area marker disappearing for the area just completed, it instead disappears for the area around X:11,Y:29
4. There is an NPC there still for the quest, Garlean-like Man, and talking to him and /doubting him for the quest works normally, after which the quest area marker for the area around X:9,Y:28 disappears instead.
5. Quest continues normally and can be turned in without issue.
