Is the new combat system just an auto attack? Or is that just temporary because some people want it?
Auto-attack is permanent.
Attributes will be adjusted to be calculated differently. All abilities are either going to be adjusted or reworked ground up. Enmity generation will be adjusted as well. In other words, no more spamming attack and no more spamming cure to win fights, it'll be a lot more involved
This is what we are led to believe. Whether or not that is actually true remains to be seen. It is also important to remember that we won't be getting the entire battle system change right away and will be spread out over the summer so it has the potential to be a colossal mess right off the bat. Let's hope SE doesnt mess it up
Ah. I was expecting 1 of 2 things. Either a Tera/vindictus type combat system or more preferably I thought they were going to make it a complete turn based system like the old ff's where if you bump into a mob your screen swirls and then its actual turn based. Thought instead of random encounters we'd see the mobs and if we bump into them we get the swirl thingy. Oh well ;_:
The development for this game is starting to look like the "development" for Duke Nukem Forever......
They are also removing stamina from the system - so the new focus will just be MP, TP, and cool downs.
