Just some musings, by me, on some ideas to help the market place and economy stabilise better. :)

I'm not too sure about listing fees. People with money to burn would still undercut if they felt like it while the more casual seller will just resort to selling to people directly to avoid the fees and taxes. Undercutting always existed, but it only got worse since patch 2.1 because high end gear and items are a lot easier to get, so the values tanked hard.
its a good thought, Yoshi has to start thinking more about the economy. There are literally hundreds of items that are selling for or less than selling it to an NPC. Maybe they should create a floor selling price, such as 10% above the price you could sell to an NPC for NQ and maybe 50% for HQ. I have no clue why people do this, I thought people like making money.
The other problem is that there is to much gear in the game that is obtainable through dungeons. Crafting would mean so much more and make so much more gil if this was not present in game. It would have been nice to be able to craft the gear and then to make it aetherial we could go into a dungeon and get an item that would have made it aetherial. Same would go for the higher dungeons, such as the Hopolite or Demagogue gear.
At this time I feel (and many do as well) the economy in this game is getting out of hand.
