FFXIV Boot Error - Unable to Complete Version Check???

Hi all.

So I did a Google search of this error and it seems like the last time it cropped up was in December or so.

What the heck is going on here? The last time I played FFXIV was on Friday! And it worked just fine.

I get off work for my weekend today and tried to load FFXIV, seeing this error.

I have tried running as Administrator, rebooting, restarting my connection, and doing an IPConfig renew/release... to no avail.

For information, the numbers on the code:

[30605][20448][10009][10019]

HALP :(

I'm having the same issue, have tried similar fixes listed by other people in the past and none of it worked, only started since the recent patch on Feb. 04

After maintenance today, I'm now getting the error also. -.-

Having the same issue today... Yesterday all was working fine.

The details of my error are:

FFXIV Boot Error
Unable to complete version check.
[30605][10009][10020]

So the number of the code is different from the ones of innominate1 but the name of the error is the same.

Same error.

After I've shutted down and restarted both PC and Modem I was able to open again the FF launcher (found some old posts where they said this error could be an IP issue).

Now I'm again able to open launcher and log on but the launcher try to download a patch and at the start I have another error:

FFXIV Launcher Error
Unable to download patch files.
[30413][10009][10020]

I rand into the same error.. code 30605, unable to verify boot version or whatever it said.

To fix this simply goto program files square enix and then the game launcher.

This bug seems to be affecting the desktop shortcut

resetting my Router worked to fix this issue
