Would it help if we posted a screenshot of our blacklist?

The gil farmers have gotten worse on Mateus. Would it help if we made a thread with screenshots of our full blacklist to help rid our game of these scumbags?

Some of the first spammers I blacklisted are still there. I'll check now and then and get rid of the deleted ones, but it is rarely more than 1 or 2 a week.

Annoying.

If they ban an account the name is not removed from the list because the character is not really deleted. You're seeing "Deleted" because the RMT have deleted the character and made a new one on the same account because they know you're blacklisting them.

Though I am not disagreeing that they've been out in force this week.

On another note, there's no way to identify if the blacklisted person is really a gil farmer. I could've just blacklisted you and post in your "screenshot" thread without a backup proof.

In addition to that, this forum doesn't actually support posting screenshots with the players name in it. So ye, your idea wasn't really good.

I get 1-2 tells in a week. Normally on weekends. I blist that day and remove the next. My blist currently has 0 on it.

I don't see RMT spamming for more then a few hours before they are removed.

I imagine it's different for everyone's server, but I seriously have a personal spam waiting by the time I log in almost everyday followed by a few more.

Statement: Why hasn't Square-Enix banned the string "pvpbank" and the countless variations of it. 95% of all RMT spam this one gets are from this one website.

Observation: Square-Enix should take note of Wikipedia's efforts against the vandal known as Grawp and the Abuse Filter they put into place to counter his many page move alternative titles (variations of "HAGGER???" "HERMY??"). Would put a very quick end to the RMT spam problem without negatively impact the community.
