LVL 50 Guildheist
Just got a main story level guildheist Quest in Thanalan and wondering what is up?
it says to use duty finder however it is not listed.
I never had done the lvl10 one back when i first started, could this possibly the cause of the lvl50 not showing up? Just wanted opinions before i jump the gun and contact SE

Each guildhest unlocks the next higher one so you need to start doing them one by one until you reach the one you need.

Guildhests also don't go higher than level 40, and the highest one required for that main scenario quest is a level 30ish one if I remember rightly, even though the actual quest is level 50. So as Kersam said, just work your way through them and you'll clear the one required for that quest soon enough.

shoot, so i guess i will just use my lower level classes for the level 10 one
What a silly thing.
Thanks for your responses

Yeah, if you're stuck doing them to catch up, definitely use a lower level class. You get a pretty big XP bonus the first time you do each of them.

Guildheists are pretty juicy sources of experience the first time you clear them, or via the Roulette. They are worth doing with your lower level classes.
And FYI, there are usually 2 per each 5 levels. The main story ones are on levels 10 and 30 if memory serves.

Yikes so much catching up to do to get to my lvl50 one
Do you progress even though you are with a different class then your main?
Or it must be with your class. Sort of like when dungeons on a sub class only unlock as you lvl up?
Would hate to do lvl10 guildheists while my Bard is at 50, lol

The only quests where it matters what class you're on are class quests and your relic quests. For any other quest, you start as one class, do each step as different classes, and turn it in as yet another class (as long as that class meets the level requirement).
Guildhests also don't care what class you are, only your current level, just like dungeons. If you meet the level requirement for the guildhest, you can do it, and succeeding in it unlocks the next one. You can do any guildhest you've unlocked as long as your current class is the level for that guildhest.

Sorry, but Guildhests just sound dumb to me, so Guldheists it is!
And they are like dungeons. You can do them on any class, it does not matter. You also only get the first time bonus experience the first time you clear them, not the first time for each class. Although that would be cool.
Think of Guildheists are small tutorials that teach you little things about the game. As you progress in levels, they become more complex to execute. And they stop before level 50, not sure if the last one is on 40 on 45 since i'm at work and can't check at the moment.

Thanks for the replies. I will just use a class i am still not familiar with which is lancer
And i agree, actually think it is silly that Se implemented a guildheist as part of the main story which in turn is forcing players to do them.
I like to learn as i go but feel like guildheists at this point would not teach me anything.
Heck if i did Titan HM guildheists are nothing, lol
