Buying love? the sad state of eorzean romance!

not a very serious thread just curious as early prices for those that for some reason just can't find a nice young lady/cat lady or man/ cat man to show them enough love to trade a single bitter or sweet choco with them on my server alone were in the 90k range early on!

Seems sadly even on our V-day there's just very little love in Eorzea! post how you managed to get your V-day chocolate and if you had to buy it or had someone special show you some love!

I myself met a straping young miqo'te to trade with but Ive seen market buyers! any luck for others out there!

I'll be doing the quest with my rl gf :). I hope I don't have to end up paying her for a trade :P

I was hoping to do this event with a friend but since both our characters are the same gender we cant trade and I will sadly probably just end up buying them for us both to save the hassle. That said does anyone know how many pieces you need from the opposite gender to complete the entirety of the quest line.

i'm making my online valentine participate. lol. hopefully more fun than that though. I'd like them to participate willingly and make it more fun. I heard alot of /shouts from those who hated the Valentiones Day event and just wanted to quickly get it over with.

I for one enjoy it and i'm going to have fun with it. I think they perfectly managed to make an event that has you seeking a valentine for the event.

That's were my FC came in handy ^^ buddys are the best who needs real love when you know epic ppl;) btw Yurimi you need 1 of each. but this morning for me i saw some act haveing a Twerking eww contest for some very dumb guys to get there's how low will you go :P i guess some ppl will go very

I just took off my clothes in my subligar and shouted give me chocolate for some sexy time and got a trade up in a second.
Do not under estimate the power of subligar...

Anyways, it shouldn't be hard to trade with others, they will have enough sooner or later, event just started, don't have to rush :)

for me I would just rather do it with someone I like rather than some random person I wont ever talk to =P thank you for the info though

anyone know if being in a party with someone will allow their names to appear on the gear similar to how FFXI worked with the charm and miracle wands ?

Oh but the guy in my FC iv known for over 6 years so it's a dear friend that's why it was special to me^W^

yeah a lot of my friends both male and female play female characters so sometimes it can be hard for stuff like this to do it with someone you know =(

This event has shown me how many female characters there are compared to males. Thankfully i got lucky and found someone, but out of curiosity, i checked the market board to see how much they were going for, the male ones were two to three (or more) times the female ones.
