Debuff resistance formula

Hi PvPers,

I am trying to meld my pvp gears. As grinding marks is painful, I would like to meld the resistance materias first.

Does anyone know the f(resistance) = outcome, formula?
Is it a continue function (so I can feel free to meld as I like) or a jump function (I have to reach some certain gap value so I dont waste any pts).

+1 Resist = 1% Duration decrease.

Also last reported that the Resist doesn't affect 3rd application. Not sure about it now.

Really +1 = 1% ... so with +6 the sleep instead 30sec it's 28.2 sec ??

dunno why you expect lvl 1 materias to be the end all be all.
