Avoid unlocking Pharos Sirius is a good thing, right?

After taking a brief look at what people say about the said dungeon I have been hesitant to unlock it, because I don't want to use Duty Roulette to end up in a dungeon that is hard for no good reason. I assume I'm doing myself a favor. And from the looks of it, it doesn't look like Square has any intentions of nerfing this dungeon (unless I'm missing something), therefore I will keep the quest unfinished.

Hmm my first time doing Pharos Sirius is siriusly a nightmare lol, but its funny to find out the mechanism too. I did it several times through duty roulette and all passed. It is not that difficult, and is easy if everyone knows their job. :)

After I unlocked it, my very first run was with 3 other members of my FC. We were all going in completely blind to the mechanics, looking to have fun and figure the dungeon out. It sure was a toughy, but we had a blast nonetheless.

Now, on the note you're probably asking about; my experiences with this dungeon through the duty roulette? Most have been horrible, with runs that take longer than an hour. The dungeon itself is pretty fun, and when everybody knows what they're doing, it's fairly easy. But, most of my experiences with randoms with this dungeon have been bad.

Yeah I can see unlocking it just for the experience of doing it, but when you have to pug randoms in duty roulette in something that requires extensive teamwork to get the same amount of rewards as the easier ones, I could see that becoming bothersome.

I don't even think Pharos is the most difficult of the new dungeons introduced; IMO that award goes to Copperbell. I've still at least won most of my Pharos roulette runs (some of which have been a total breeze without even any deaths), whereas my win rate with Copperbell is significantly lower.

I've heard there are plans to adjust Pharos somehow, whether it be by lowering the difficulty or upping the rewards to match the difficulty (IMO the latter is what should be done, because there are already other dungeons to run if you want something easier)

Really? I find Copperbell Hard to be easier compared to Pharos.

They are making Pharos easier.

pharos is already easy.. we ran it in AF/GC weapons for lols when we were bored one night
if u happen to catch a lot of new players in roulette it may be hard, but almost everyone knows the mechanics by now

my fc mates ran it day 1 blind and we still beat it

I've only done it with pug and so, I've never beaten it. I did get to the last boss the first time I ran it though... every attempt since has failed at the first.
