Casting bard skills disconnects with Error 9000

Hi there,

I've just recently started playing FFXIV and created an Archer/Pugilist to form the Bard.

Having done so, the Bard skills I can now use, on cast, cause me to disconnect from the world giving me Error code 90000.

I contacted support and they provided a copy + paste job telling me they had no idea what was happening and that I should instead seek help here, so here I am.

I hope someone out there knows the answer to this; I'm paying monthly for a game I can't play to it's potential, I don't think this is very fair.
