I mean, honestly world of warcraft has one of the top spots on twitch 24.7 yet we are so far behind in viewers/ and streamers?
Is this game that bad:"? i love it.

Yay @ watching people autocraft 99bags of sunset wheat. Gripping stuff!
I tried for awhile but I'm having issues with the capture. Both programs I have Xsplit and OBS have trouble with frame skips.
Sadly my bandwidth sucks. Otherwise I'd have consider streaming it too.
I stream it but sadly nobody watches when i do. I get 1-2 streamers per hour which is very boring + then i log out. I have at most had 10 people when the game was near launch. Now, we have around 500 people total watching ffxiv at any given point compared to 12k -15 k that watch WoW?
I believe being a streamer is also about being a personality, no?
You have to engage your viewers, make it more inviting for them to want to watch your stream, etc. After all, if they are going to watch your stream, they're watching it because you are playing the game, not because some random dude is streaming FFXIV. It's all about publicity really...and you also want them to have a good lasting impression of your stream.
There will be streams when new raids are out I would think, at least in other games that is when they happen the most.
I agree, however i dont change much when i stream other games + the viewer ccount goes alot higher / more frequent. The reason is, alot of people just dont want to watch ffxiv as amazing as it is, and graphically stunning as it is. They would rather watch WoW for some reason, a ten year old game that has horrible gfx.
Id rather not have people watch me screw shit up.
