Hi there.
I'm attempting to log-in to the game with a new character, but it's telling me I've reached my daily character creation limit. I was messing around with characters, making them and then deleting them, and now I really want to play one with my girlfriend.
Is there anything I can do or do I have to wait?
You have to wait... This was created so gil sellers couldn't create too many accounts...

Does it reset at 12:00 AM then?
I am not positive on reset time... Probably in the am with the server times...
You can always download the official FFXIV Benchmark/Character Creation tool and play with that to create character and save the character files. When you're ready to use the character for the game, just load it up in the actual game.

That shows what servers are currently blocked for creation and which are open for it. They change depending on the time..
1 question though.. What is your subscription type? If you are paying $12.99 a month then you can only make 1 character per server, for a total of what, 7 or 8?.. $14.99 let's you create up to 8(i think) characters on 1 server, up to 40 in total on the account.
So if you are paying $12.99 a month, that might be the culprit.
