Can someone explain to me if what I am thinking will work or not.

I own this game already on PS3 but would like to add the ability to play it on PC too, so I was wondering if I were to buy the PC version would I get the 30 days free eventhough iv already had 30 days free via the PS3 version?

It would just mean I wouldnt have to pay out to play on a different platform THEN pay for a subscription ontop of that. (Well at least not right away)

Can anyone clear this up for me please?



Edit: Also how come it seems like the PC version of the game costs almost twice as much as the PS3 verson, that makes no sense to me.

Yes. You get 30 days of gametime included with any purchase of the game. So if have a service account with the PS3 version already registered and you buy the PC version, you'll get another 30 days when you register it.

Can't you just use your PS3 SE account on PC?

Nope, you need to buy the game for each platform you want to play it on (except PS3 players moving to PS4, they get that for free, but once they transition to PS4 they cannot play the game on PS3 again unless they buy another copy).

PC version is cheaper, I believe. Last I saw it was 40 usd on PSN, 20 or so on sale. I saw it was 30 on PC and recently it was on sale for 15 (amazon, I think).

You can buy the pc version and get your 30 days added on to what you have now... Example... 25 days left on subscription buy pc version + 30 days you would have a total of 55 days... You can also use your same character because the information is saved to the server not to the device...

I can now pick up the Ps3 version for (and sorry its in Pounds) roughly £8 while the cheapest I have seen the PC version anywhere is around £15.

It is annoying that it isnt cross console and that you have to pay. Id not mind if it wasnt for the Sub fees ontop of it all.

Why they are should give free game just because you made for buy other copy? When you buy car, do you ask the dealership for 2nd car free because you are buy the first? This game are cheap, and subscribe fee are cheap. They are no for ever offer cheap game and then free subscription lolol they are no make money this way!

Just be careful when you register your PC version. Lots of people messed up and made a new service account instead of linking it.
