t1-t5 lockout removal etc. in patch

what do you think?inb4 post in general forums!i find it easier to keep up if i post in here instead.maybe they mean you can do t1-t4 again if your on t5 & be lockedout of item grabs if you replay it

From what I understand from the Live letter:
- T1- T5 will be on the duty finder and you will be able to queue up for a specific turn.
- Weekly Lockout will be removed which probably means Loot will work like it does in CT.
- You will have to clear T1 - T5 before going into T6

Even though I am still working on T5, the The hardcore player in me feels like the game hasn't been out long enough to merit putting its BC part 1 tier of content into duty finder. On the other hand, the casual player in me feels like this might be a welcome change for small FCs and people who dont/can't raid on a steady schedule. In short, i dont think this change will really affect any of the FCs that are currently raiding as they will probably continue to clear it with their statics but will also allow a bigger part of the community that is currently not partcipating to do so. Besides, Duty Finder can barely get Titan Extreme down, the chances that they will bring down Twin is very very low.

im satisfied with it having a df for the following reasons.1. it takes forever to get a party up(a)@3A.M. 2.if you pugged a static and got to T5 early and they decide not todo T5 & your just alone @T5 waiting for coeurl to catch up.
i don't mind if its like ct because it will allow solo puggers etc. join other solo puggers or other non static fc members to catch up to the static members but still keeping ilvl90 gear(allagan gear)
being so easy to get even though theoretically you can run t1 til a gear drops assuming if your missing a t1 item.More than 1 item of a class drops in each turn obviously but limiits item spam in a turn

I for one, like the change. I think it opens the doors for newer players to catch up on progression, or at least to interact with their fc by helping their other folks in earlier coil turns to gear them up for progression attempts. As it is now, if you have your static, you can't go do any progression except like primals or CT with the other folks in your FC. This will give us something relevent to run, to help teach them tactics and group organization. All in all a good change.

catch up to what content? turn 1-5? with the buff it will be a week and everyone will be coiled out. Well I might be speaking too soon. its only 1-5 turns that's not a lot of content. this is just a handout to peoples bitching about how they cannot find a group for coil or its too hard.

I think its a bit ridiculous how they are making it so easy so fast, basically all the time i put into downing t1-5 can be done through DF now? lol way to make it competitive still. its been over 2 months since the static im in has downed t5, before that only 2-3 groups downed it before us, it looks like they are going dumb down t1-5 to make it DF ready, so im going to assume that it is going to be the same for regular static runs. The only thing that I hope they will implement is less weighted stats on gear like with wow, you had DF Normal and HardMode gear, im sorry to say for the ones that dont have a static or are running it solo and NEED to df it, i just dont get why they will feed you gear that is still completely viable, i mean if you couldnt farm the gear out for 1-5 how do you expect 6-9 to be easier? but its whatever, i hope 6-9 is hard as crap and ppl get stuck on it for a few months.

Time to hurry and down 1-5 before they nerf it so I don't feel like I had it handed to me afterward >.<
And hopefully, if loot works like in CT, they count each turn separately so you can still roll once on each.

To catch up to the new content. That's handy when you're pushing progression to be able to fill out groups and get them back geared quickly. It's not like we're loosing anything, the new top of the line gear will be from the new turns, which will just be like 1-5 is now. ilvl 90 will be the new ilvl 70 here soon. I'm fine with helping folks get knowledge and practice on fight mechanics, and actually be able to help others in my FC out instead of, sorry to bad, we already ran with our static...we can help with primals!
