Since everyone is on a "gimme more!"-kick... Yoshi-P, here me now :)

I've been lurking in the forums for a while now, keeping my opinions to myself, because, despite what a lot of people say, I feel you all are doing a great job with this game. What I'd like to see doesn't even involve gameplay, so this could be something done on the side.

Yoshi-P, please, give us more CG cutscenes! The opening from this game, and the full CG cutscenes from 1.0 are amazing!
With every expansion, how about a cutscene to introduce the new content to tie it into the story?

And make the characters in the CS less stiff.
Give them more animations that are not from the emotion list.

Because the team that handles cutscenes and the team that handles dungeons, PVP, end game, etc are all the same 3 dudes, am I right?

Three dudes? On SE's nickle?

For FFXIV's cutscenes we get one unpaid intern, who is also in charge of the duty server latency.

Id rather they spend those resources on more gameplay. the ingame CS's work well enough considering they're cheap to produce.

full prerendered CGI is really, really, really, expensive. granted square's inhouse CGI team is probably seperate from the dev team, but they're also probably working on CGI for other games that have higher priority (like ffxv or kh3)

Though I agree, I also am happy with the fact they threw the hint of old Legacy Quests in that book in the Inn Room that I cannot remember at this current point in time.

Meaning, HOPEFULLY the cutscenes for 1.0 will be coming back ;-;

We haven't even seen our first expansion yet...I'm sure we'll get something awesome. I didn't expect them to make a full CG "End of an Era" trailer...that blew me away and everyone that I show it to.

I'm assuming we might see something like that for each expansion.

I can agree that they probably are busy with other game's CGI, but as far as cost, now-a-days, it really isn't that expensive, just time-consuming (home computers are almost powerful enough for this type of production), but of course time is money :p
