Accidentally Promoted Person to Free Company Master

Hello,

So our Free Company Master was demoting people and he accidentally promoted someone to Master who had been offline for an extended amount of time which is now 47 days. Our entire company wants to know if there is anything we can do. We own a small house and want to upgrade to a large one in the future but it would feel very uncomfortable to have someone who isn't even online with all the power of the Free Company Master. Is there a way for the original person to get his position back or do we just have to start over?
