New NVIDIA drivers gave me a HUGE performance boost!
I got a bit more than 200 points scored on the benchmark while testing the new 334.67 GeForce graphics card update (it's a Beta driver). I made a thread several months ago because at that time, a new driver update was available. Well, this time there is a new current one (I mentioned the driver number above).
I remember getting a score with my previous 332 driver which was 4,102 (had the number saved on my laptop), and now I got a new benchmark number of 4,368. It's still a High ranking, but it's a higher number than before!
The GeForce Experience software does not detect this new driver update, so I had to go search on the NVIDIA website (not GeForce.com, as it's not on there at the current time) through the beta and older driver search.
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us Some people have reported that when trying to get the link to download the driver, it says file not found. I was able to bring up the driver download. If you can flag the driver download and download it, great! Try this new driver download. Oh, when installing the driver...I got a slideshow of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn being promoted as a free game with GeForce purchase!
EDIT: My NVIDIA card is a GeForce 555M GT, so I'm glad I got a performance boost, even though my card isn't all that powerful.
