[ PS3 ] System Error -2147309046

Now I have looked all over for this and I only found how to fix this on the PC version ... I haven't found a link or anything about the PS3.

Any ideas?

Message 1: " Cannot launch FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. Please register the promotion code included with your package or download. A re-install will not be necessary. "

Same here been playing since early access and now i'm encountering this issue ... please help

I'm also experiencing this issue as well.

It might have something to do with the current PSN maintenance that's going on though.
That's really the only reason I can think of as to why we're experiencing this issue. Our best bet is to just wait until the PSN maintenance ends at 6:30 ET and see if we can log in then.

That could be what is going on. I wasn't notified that there was a PSN maintenance at all like i normally get. But then again i don't think that is it... There are firends of mine that are playing on the PS3 right not on FFXIV.

well just checked in my FC ... other PS3 players r online playing ... and signing in the psn is not the issue ... because when starting up my ps3 i get signed in automatically ... it once ii launch the game ... i get the above mentionned error

besides ... how does this get fixed on pc ?

From what I have been reading its something with the promo codes from where you purchased the game... What vendor did you get the game from PS network? amazon? gamestop? ect..

I also found this post (I ended up getting the client to work. I went to the PSN Store and saw there was an update, downloaded it, and now the client works.) Posted by S'naidjaa Thish

Deleting some files or restarting your modem seems to help on the PC.

just something i tried now putting my install cd in the ps3 ... and the game launched

Sqaure-Enix Store Online. Everything is set up for FFXIV sense Phase 2 of the beta and I have been playing snese early excess till now
