Crystal Tower Idiocy

I don't know about the rest of you, but when other people in your alliance insult you every few seconds just because you happen to be new to that particular dungeon, I have a mind to leave the run and call a GM. Why do people have to be so damn cruel? I'm not going to tolerate it. No one should have to.

Allow us to use the blacklist and support desk functions while in a dungeon, please.

lol I don't think that I ever saw the word "retard" being thrown around so ridiculously much till I did CT. Its just insane.
My first time there I was overwhelmed so I understand how anyone who is new could feel that way, but there is absolutely no need for all the rage & badmouthing.

Crystal Tower is full of d***heads and trolls, and this was to be expected.
Unfortunately, it has been like this since its release and nothing is done as far as we know.

You can endlessly harrass 20 people with little to no remark from SE, but you will be immediatly banned if you ever try to post the name of this dumbass on forums.
Go figure.
Oh, and this post might also grant me a temporary ban as well, since I dare say bad things on how the situation is handled by SE. > "Negative effect on the community, yada yada"

Only option is, get your CT done on Monday or Tuesday. That point everyone wants or needs something.

If you need something Friday - Sunday...be ready for trolls! Be ready for them to do everything they can to annoy you, wipe you, talk smack and etc. Had a group last week that was just trying to wipe EVERYONE, when I called em out... (I used profanity) I got warned from SE.

Guess CT trolls are working as intended. Please look forward to it!

Look, yes, CT is bad, especially later in the week. But look, you don't have to read a thing. If they get under your skin that much, ignore your chat window. Plain and simple. Too many people like you like to bring their feelings into the game and it just ends badly.

I must've been lucky my first time. I did have someone in Alliance tell me I was trolling when I hadn't been on the switch thing for the Atomos fight, but when I responded that I hadn't been told (after telling my party I was new) and that I wouldn't make the same mistake, everything was fine. Even had the same person explain the King Behemoth and Ascheron fights.

OP, just take a snapshot of your Alliance window, and the Chat Log next time. Leave + report, and let the GMs sort the rest out. If it's true what people say that they can get warned for bad language quite easily, then take advantage of that and don't fall for their bait. Eventually you will find a group that either treats fellow players with respect, or at least doesn't talk much at all.

Crystal tower has brought out the worst in people. Too many people taking their runs far too serious, too many getting mad for the slightest hickups. Zero tolerance for newcomers and zero will to explain the tactics for new players. In the beginning, where everybody was new to the dungeon, the culture was a tad different and better imo. Most leaders of each alliance asked if new people are aboard and if people know the fights. They asked if everybody is ready and in case somebody DC'ed, they waited till a replacement arrived. Just a few weeks later, everybody seems to expect that each player knows all the fights in and out. Nobody waits but starts the fight at free will. If somebody of your group disconnects, it's no reason to wait. Instead they bitch after the fight that DPS was not enough lol.

And then the competetive part....after each fight you hear sentences like "Group XYZ wins" "Group XYZ has a dmg/heal/tank problem". Some even dish out the results from their parser program to blame others directly for making "less dmg than everybody else". Players have somehow turned into judges. I bet in 2014 editions of dictionnaires, you see Crystal tower as a further explanation of Intolerance lol.
