Launcher will not work, get system error 504

I am no longer able to do anything with this game. When I run the launcher it checks the version, then brings up the black launcher window and an error appears.

"A system error has occurred: 504."

I've tried everything I can think of. Can't find any forum threads on the matter, tried un-install and re-install, made sure proper permission are made on the firewall, even tried disabling it all together. Nothing seems to help.

Any help would be appreciated.
