I was trying to submit a bug using the Bug Report page, and I was repeatedly told "The text you entered is too long." No field was longer than specified or could be reasonably expected, and I was unable to submit the form. I have previously filled out successful bug reports using this form on the same browser.

If you would like to submit feedback concerning this restriction you may do so in the general discussion. I will also mention this to my superiors, perhaps together we can get this policy to be more lax, at least on the bug forums. Since this is not an actual bug report I will have to close this particular thread. Should you have any other possible system errors you would like to report you may do so by submitting another thread with the template format.
