Mouse sometimes freezing when holding L or R mouse button

Hi all,

I have a quite annoying issue that I have not been able to find any info about.
First of, I'm running Windows 8.1 and my mouse is an Anker 8200DPI (http://www.ianker.com/product/98ANDS2368-BA).

Sometimes whilst in game the mouse movement becomes unresponsive when holding down L or R mouse button ( to either look around or change direction of my char). If I release the button I am able to move the cursor around but if I hold the button again it doesn't move the view (this usually lasts for about 10 seconds).

I first thought this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2908279) was the issue but applying the changes suggested in there didn't give any positive results.

Does any1 else experience this or have any ideas on how to solve this?
