How to upgrade an existing account to CE via product key?

I can't figure out where to go on the Mogstation to enter my product key.

There's the obvious page to upgrade through the SQEX storefront for $20, but that's not what I'm looking for. It's a full vers code for the CE that I want to apply to my current Standard version for the item bonuses, foregoing the 30 days.

All the support faqs just direct me to the $20 payment page, which I have no use for.

Yeah, if you have a code for the full game in CE, then you have to activate that seperately. I don't think you can just upgrade an existing account. that's how it works in most games, anyway.

I got a CE from Amazon and am wondering how the heck do I apply it's item bonuses to my existing basic PC account. But apparently the only way to do that is to buy the CE direct from SE?
So is my Amazon CE code useless unless I want to make a fresh service account that has no actual characters of mine on it? How does only having that one 'option' make any useful sense?

I guess my attempt to save 2$ means I'll have to spend $17+$19 now. Great.

I'm guessing, try to contact the SE Support. Maybe they can dom something on their end. I know it is a long shot, but hopefully they can help in some way.

From what I remember, you can't actually get the bonus items from the CE account and add them to a standard one - the CE version has an all in one serial code that automatically adds the items to the account upon registration, hence it can't be used to add it to an existing account. There was a page on the old Lodestone just before launch that specified this, I'll try looking for it and post it here.

I think that info only applied to 1.0 players though who were upgrading to ARR.
