A noble shout out to an awesome tank whose name has nothing to do with the title of this post because I'm probably not allowed to mention other players directly.

He joined A DF Wanderer's Palace with me on WHM and some DPS that were slightly under-equipped (one of them was mostly level 45 gear!).

Not only did he NOT taunt or belittle the DPS, he patiently explained the fight and led us to VICTORY!

After cynically seeing so many tanks ragequit because gear wasn't good enough or antagonize other new/undergeared players through a whole dungeon, this was like a breath of fresh air mixed with a powerful herbal tea formula that cured all known diseases!

Anyways, players like him will help this game succeed way more than graphics and new costume options.

These kinds of players deserve the "MVP" commendation. I remember one day my FC had half a Garuda Hard farm party, and only 1 tank. Every time we entered, just for the hell of it I always said "Hi, I'm new here." and the DF tank was kind enough to explain the fight. Pretty sure I was using DRG Relic or Garuda for the weapon at the time, too, so that makes it even funnier. Love finding people that actually take the time to explain things.

Actually, sounds like 90% of the players I meet in game.
