Say NO to rushed content
Anyone else disappointed with the new screenshots of the instances? Same mobs, same environmental texture, same mesh for the armor with a different color, same mesh for the shield with a different color, and this isn't the first time. It's like when I traveled to Mor Dhona, found an empty cave and another with only two bats in it. How much more effort would it have taken to populate the caves?
In my opinion, thoughtful developed content is better than rushed content.

i agree with you, thats why they need to make enjoyable time sinks to have more time to make new content without rushing it

I agree that they should not rush the content just for the sake of giving the players (aka beta testers) some content but I was not really disappointed with the screenshots. Of course the mobs that you will encounter in them will be the same type of mobs that you find in the area the dungeons are, it's only logical. They could reskin them slightly of course. The bosses on the other end is what matters, they need to be unique not just an oversized toad. With just 1 screen for each dungeon, it's hard to say that it looks copy/pasted. Even if it uses the same texture/coloring, it can be different as a whole and doesn't feel copy/pasted, but we won't know until we try them. And it's also normal that the dungeons theme are similar to the area they are in, else you'd be complaining about the transition being off.
but for the sake of the OP, I agree that no content should be rushed.

+1 sorta to elreed. on one hand, well thought out content is a good idea.. but on the other hand... waiting 9 months for TRASH IS GETTING OLD! besides we have really only a very limited clue as to what these dungeons bring.. they might be good.. but we need more.. and sooner in order to keep people happy.. this game does not bring enough to the table yet for them to take a break.. throw "emergency get this game going" into play and throw all developers on it for like a month or two.. (not all.. just bluk up for a bit.. they can do testing or something so the other devs can still code :D) RUSH RUSH RUSH! MORE MORE MORE! until this game is worth playing.. taking time is the suck!

Lol are you kidding!? When was the games released?
Open Beta scheduled for August 31st, 2010
& what happened???
RUSHED!
Face it, your alpha testing content, how could it possibly be rushed? Your the buffer zone... You don't PAY! Its the new sensation! Check your developer feedback. Mostly Japan screams battle mechanic & you agree! ;)
what next? best not to get to attached to anything.

Consistency in art style is to be expected in the areas the raids take place in. That doesn't mean that the assets are recycled. I have not come across a place that looks identical to the pic in the black shroud raid sneakpeek. The raid in Coerthas is completely new to us, even if some guy had found a way to look at the art assets before.
This game has 40-or-so different monster types. Most of them are very rarely seen in the actual game, as most of the land is inhabited by mobs like coblyns and marmots. That is plenty for a vanilla game as it is. What they should do is make each monster type stand out so they have more than merely cosmetical differences.

**looks at calendar**...its now 2011...yup, NOTHING they can give us can in anyway be labelled as rushed.
