Inquiry about housing exterior appearance

Greetings! My Free Company is about to purchase its plot of land for our future house! However, with the different kinds of permit you can acquire (composite/stone/wood), I would like to inquire as to what the differences between these permits actually are and about the actual appearance of the outdoor fixtures. Does the stone permit only allow you to use stone fixtures? Does a Riviera permit only allow you to use Riviera fixtures?

Also if anyone has any pictures to share about their house exterior I would be very grateful!
