Are win/losses in PvP ever going to be wiped?

I participated in the PvP in this game for the first time tonight. Unfortunately, I regret doing so very much as I've discovered that I do not like the PvP in this game at all. I'd like to not have an ugly stained record permanently attached to my character just because I decided to give a different part of the game a try.

I think that the records should definitely be wiped especially due to the inherent lack of balance and poor mechanics of the PvP in its current (early) state.

I'd like an official word on this please.

If you don't like the PvP then why would you care about your PvP record?

Lol someone is a sore loser. So what you lost not everyone wins everything, what's wrong with people.

Yes, your character is tainted now the only recourse available is to delete it and make a new one. Or just go outside for a second and get some fresh air then realise what you're complaining about isn't the end of the world..... of warcraft.

I didn't know I wouldn't like it. How would I know without trying? I care about my record because it's (as of right now) permanently attached to my character.

Where did you come up with that? I don't care that I lost. I care that because I decided to try out a feature of the game my character is permanently branded with losses, or rather, labeled as a loser. Just to emphasize it, this happens just from TRYING the feature out.

What logic? Where in my post did I ever claim that I was upset that I lost? It's not about that I lost. It's that my character is tagged with said losses. I wouldn't want wins there either in the event that I never wanted to PvP again.

I suggest that wins/losses be wiped and a ranked match system be put in place that actually tallies your score. That way, people like myself could try out a regular match with no consequences.

Regardless, if you didn't like the pvp and never plan on doing it again, does it really matter what your w/l ratio is? Or that it even exists?

Pvp got somewhat better after the last patch

pretty sure my pvp record is like 2-2 or something but I never even seen it...
