Changing FC Master?

Hi,

lately our FC-Master has gone missing and we'd like to switch the free company master but after contacting the in-game GM support, they said that they can't change that.

Is there really no way to change that up to this point without remaking the whole guild?!? (Rank 8 :/ )

Nope, you have to wait for the leader to return or start a new FC

Isnt there some rule that says if the master deletes character then FC goes to another member?

Even if that's so, I don't see how it would help a case like this. If he won't come back to the game to pass on leadership, he's not likely to come back just to delete the character.
