gamepad issues

Since the last patch (2.15--todays) my gamepad is not working correctly, in that the triggers do not bring up the cross hotbar. Everything else works. I have reset my configuration several times, have even deleted the FF directory in my documents, and nothing seems to work. I use a third party xbox360 controller and it works fine in everything else, heck it worked fine in FF until today. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I really liked the cross hotbar system and it is a pain to use the keyboard or mouse for hotbar actions.
