I'm not really sure which forum to post this on, so figured I'd choose this one since he's summoned from the inn room.


I feel like the amount of money charged for his services should depend on the services performed. If I just want new face paint, I shouldn't have to pay the full two grand that's charged for a haircut, neck trim, hot towel treatment, and shoulder massage.

It is a high static amount to discourage changing often so the character model data does't need resaved on the server as often, less potential for memory leaks. Given the small processing power needed they are better off rewriting the whole record wether you are just getting a trim or going full on Yellowmoon clown face for a day.

Oh, but I wish I could change my hairstyle on a whim. I don't believe in going from short hair to extravagantly long hair (for immersive purposes), but something along the lines of in a ponytail, not in a ponytail, etc. would be kind of nice. As for face paint, I think it's only fair that you should be able to change it at a cheaper rate as well. But I also understand why it is what it is, and it probably won't change for that reason.
