Sentinel not working sometimes.

Time: Always
Frequency: Always
World name: Brynhildr
Character name: Senesthya
NPC name: Any
Monster name: Any
Class/Level: Paladin lvl 46
Party or solo: Any
In-game time: Any
Area and coordinates: Any
Steps:
1. Fight against a monster
2. Use my abilities regulary
3. Use Sentinel during the 2.5s GCD and then spam my next move. This seems to interrupt Sentinel's animation and therefore it's not buffing me BUT it's putting the spell on cooldown !

It may happens on other offGCD buffs but this is very easy to reproduce with Sentinel.
So I have to wait to see the buff actually pops before using something else to be sure to get it. (I hope I made myself clear).
