Can finally switch classes without penalty

That was pretty much my reaction when I saw it. Doesn't fix how slow the GP recovers, but this is pretty useful.

So, strange thing, which I'm sure there's a purpose, but it caps at 400gp, regardless on how much you had when you switched out of your DoL class.

It caps at 400 because that's the maximum value of GP without any gathering gear. When you switch from DoL to a non-DoL your GP value can only drop as low as your max GP. If your non-DoL happened to have a GP-oriented gear set and you switched to that and then back to your DoL your DoL class would start with more than 400 GP as long as you had more than 400 GP before you made the switch.

Ah, that makes sense. It's been a little while since I had the minimum GP allowed.

Better 400 GP instead of 600+ than zero - makes it worth now again to pop in quickly to those unspoiled nodes when you're around at "right" time with "wrong" class ;)

I literally got in the habit of switching to a DoL and leaving my PS3 on just in case I wanted to gather when I was ready to play next. It's pathetic to think how the lack of QoL conditions you to behave strangely
