HP requirements for doing 3 member stack for Twintania Fireball?

Wondering what the HP requirements for doing this would be. We're currently having trouble killing the fast conflag with the time alloted using the 4-man stack strat. We are pretty well geared, so wondring if it'd be possible to do a three man stack. The HP pool looks like this:

PLDs: ~6800 each
BLM 1: ~4300
BLM 2: ~4200
BRD: ~4200
Monk: ~4500
WHM: ~4400
SCH: ~4000

Would we be able to do a strat where the OT PLD and Pet stack with the fireball target running to them?

If you have trouble with killing a conflag in time doing a 4-stack, you likely don't have enough dps to kill twintania before the enrage. Or simply, your dps needs to be better about how they burst the conflags.

Having said that, you likely do not have enough HP for a 3-stack. You would want everyone closer to the 4400 of your whm. Fireballs in a three-stack can sometimes do more than ~4.6k. While those are rare, it would leave you in a position of being at the mercy of RNG.

Thank you for your reply. We do realize that we shoud be able to DPS the conflags in time with our current setup and are currently investigating ways to ensure we are optimizing our DPS. The 3 stack route is an attempt to explore alternate approaches as well. We will probably test it out either way during our coil runs this week. However, based on your input, it might not be viable at the moment...we'll see. Thanks for the input!

You guys just need practice more. Since you had MNK,3 stack won't kill anyone if OT cast ss on 4000hp healer. MNK DRGkick debug must be on boss. 3 stacks just for people try do practice on next phase more often.

A non-traited Stoneskin is 10% of the max health. So the healer will have roughly 4.4k eHP. The below comment sums it up why this is still not efficient.

conflags seems like the only real hp check in the whole fight for non tanks, so maybe just stack 4 and have people change stat distribution to non-vitality, if that helps.

Our group is mostly full BiS and this week will be our 11th Twintania kill.

We used to do the 3-stack, but since 2.1 and the virus changes, it seems to have gotten a lot less reliable, so we've just started 4-stacking.

Even with 4400+ HP, I've seen clothies get one shot on a 3 stack even with a stoneskin up and the 10% damage reduction from WARR.

3 stack is still viable, but random deaths every now and again make it a lot less desirable to use; I'd recommend just practicing 4 stack.

Thanks all for the info. Based on what I'm seeing here, we will most likely stick to 4 stack and focus on improving our DPS.
