Basically say your after 300 flax, on the market it's 100 a pop, but you want to pay 80 a pop. You can go to a board , pin your request and other gatherers can take it, gather what you want and fulfill your order. Good for when things on market are silly prices or there's just not enough on there
Gatherers get 300 Flax, you pay them 80 gil a pop, turn around and sell it 100 gil a pop. Other guy does all the work, you profit.
How about people asking for maybe a stack of 10 for free. An easy request, and an easy way to chip away at provision quests while others do their work for them.
People can abuse anything put in game... At the end of the day the person got the money for getting them, so who cares what they do with it, it's an optional thing, no ones forced to gather
Plus it's no different to buying 99 of something and selling them in batches of 10 for more from the market
Or easy... contact a gatherer and ask for such and such for so and so and agree on the price. It's something I'm missing... a way to be able to provide stuff to known people when they need it. Which is why I ask in my FC if anyone needs something when going out. It's better to have a purpose when doing it then just for profit.
Yea but not everyone knows a gatherer, or just don't ask. I don't like gatgerinf , this just popped into my head when at the markets
