Provisioning and Supply missions with a star icon / symbol

Hi,

Sometimes missions given by Grand Companies to craft item or gather material have a star in front of them.
And the text for the rewarded experience and seals are in a different color from the other missions.

I assume it is totally random and that you get a small bonus but is there some information about that?

I've also wondered about that ... but have't found any official info yet.

I'm assuming the crafted ones are 1star recipes, and the gathers are from rare nodes. They're worth more because they're more rare/harder to make.

The starred missions definitely pay out more experience and seals than a normal mission, but don't seem different from normal missions in any other way. I think it is just a random bonus you sometimes get to the payout for one mission.

That isn't the case. You can get starred missions at much lower levels than that, and the items don't seem any harder to obtain.

Would be nice to have a note in the window "* experience and seal bonus" something like that
Or if this is triggered like for each 10 provisioning / supply done you get a one star mission in next allowance :D

Like Calathan said it happens at all levels, and recipes/gathering are no more difficult than the others.

Ahh, all my gather/crafters are 50, so I only see the high level turn-ins. Didn't know there were starred ones for lower lvls. Wonder why some are worth more then.

I can confirm that the *Starred items are random (in terms of what craft class and actual item), and also regardless of what level you are, as I just used my lower level alt/mule to test this and she had a *starred item that could be turned in. (now had 3 different * in 7 days)
I can also confirm that these * items do give more xp and seals (for both NQ & HQ) - exact percentage of orginal exp/seal I am not sure of but it only looks like 10-15% compared to other items handed in of the same level. (e.g a level 20 item and not level 30 crafting class)
