I did a few searches to find my particular bug and came up empty handed. So my chocobo is nowhere to be found but I am in a party with it. I cannot leave or disband my part and I cannot abandon my chocobo but it is nowhere to be found. I am unable to queue up for any duties because of it. Can anyone please help me? Thanks!
Are you in a main city? Since you can't summon your chocobo in a main city, you can't desummon it there either (stupid, I know, but that's how it is). If you walk out one of the gates you can dismiss your chocobo there.
If you're not in a city, though, I don't know what the problem is.
You can dismiss your chocobo in any area, including cities, by using the Withdraw action. If it's not already on your hotbar, it can be found in the Companion menu.
