CT Forced-Loot Incident, No GM Response Since 1/4

Hi, I opened numerous tickets since January 4th (Saturday) in the a.m. regarding being forced an item in CT I didn't want (preventing me from earning a piece I actually wanted).

In the a.m. of 1/4 I received a "suit of onion armor" because my other groupmates immediately ditched out of the dungeon after defeating the final boss. I was already in the process of clicking "Pass" when the piece was dropped into my inventory.

Very few seconds had passed since the boss was defeated, and I literally had the Pass button depressed on my UI (left-click hold), within the millisecond(s) it took me to unclick the item was forced upon me.

This was like my 6th CT run that week seeing 0 MNK pieces drop (or I believe possibly 1 but I lost that roll).

For good measure, I ran CT again before the weekly reset, on 1/6 at approx. 12:07am PST we completed the run... during that run the Fuma Gloves dropped but went to no one as I was the only MNK in the group & unable to roll due to the forced-loot I received earlier on.

I ran it again to add credibility to my request... since I literally saw the Fuma Gloves go to waste, and I literally saw Fuma Gloves drop, I feel that that makes for a fine justification for a trade to be administered.

I request you exchange my suit of Onion Armor for the Fuma Gloves which were rightfully mine in that instance.

EDIT: Upon this posting, I have since received the Fuma Gloves... I would like the Fuma Pants in exchange for the Onion Armor in my inventory.

He posted a factual observation, there's nothing 'constructive' to add as it's something that's been raised umpteen times in the past. Maybe 2.15 will see some change in this mechanic, but you don't seriously expect SE to give you the gloves that are 'rightfully yours', do you? The mechanic is as the mechanic is, this isn't a bug or 'glitch' in the handling of loot, it's WAI as far as SE is concerned.

In any case, posting here isn't the way to get something resolved as you well know, doing so is simply QQing in public.

You're not likely to get a GM response because CT reset or CT loot exchange is not a service they provide.
How lotting in CT works was described in the last live letter, and it was stated at the time that if you're the last person left in your party and haven't yet pressed need/greed/pass, the loot would fall to you.
They are going to change this in patch 2.15 which is due on tuesday, so I recommend you don't do any more CT until after the patch, if you're afraid of this being repeated.

I'm aware of how it works, the entire rest of my alliance literally left within a second of downing the boss... I literally had depressed the 'pass' button and the force-loot occurred as I was releasing left-click (within a ms).

I'm aware they are going to change it, but that's not good enough for the hundreds who got screwed over due to poor design in the first place.

Why do no CT? That would result in no loot whatsoever, I could at least chance it by running in the meantime & just try to be quicker next time.

I am sorry for the delay in a reply, normally our GM and Mods will not make comments in this particular area; I apologize for any confusion.

As for the item you received in error, this particular mechanic was not intended to occur and our wonderful Development team has addressed the concern in a recent update. Now, I do understand that the fix does not reverse what has already happened, but at this time the GM Staff are not allowed to perform the exchanges for the improper loot drops. This makes me sad to say, but it is just not possible for us at this time but with continued Customer Feedback we may be able to open up more services to our fans.

I hope your adventures in our land continue to bring you enjoyment. /bow

No offense to you (as I know you're doing everything you're permitted to do), but it seems rather insulting SE would allow something to be worked out with the thread-creator of this thread on his accident (exchange his items)... but not work out my issue that is well-documented & has been ticketed for 24 days straight (with no reply whatsoever).

I'm aware a fix has been deployed to the loot-mechanic. And just as you said, 'it was not intended', so why are you unable to reverse it?

The transaction is identical, trade one item for another, I want the Onion Armor traded for Fuma Pants... it's quite simple.

I appreciate that you are sad to say it, but may you elevate the request on my behalf & on the behalf of others who were affected & have opened tickets in 1) a reasonable time from the occurrence & 2) which are well-documented?

It is highly inequitable that you can 1:1 item exchange the thread-creator but can not do so in my case.

P.S. Context, I spent probably 10 hours in CT that week to be jacked over by something I could not humanly prevent at my reaction-speed (I immediately slid my cursor over to Pass & clicked as fast as I possibly could).

Idk it's just terribly uncouth for an MMO to not compensate for such a grave incident that cost many people greatly (10's of hours wasted for thousands of players)...

How about we do this instead (maybe a loop-hole or workaround?)... undo my item-lockout for the week so I can get two pieces this week. If you need to remove the Onion Armor from my inventory to do so, so be it.
