Duty Forfeit Option

Sorry if this has been mentioned, I did do a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Hey everyone,

I know plenty of us have done Duty Finder groups and found that the current group just couldn't do a duty, due to numerous reasons, to the point that everyone unanimously believes that the Duty can not be completed with the group. This usually means that someone has to leave the instance and face a 30 minute lock out of duties, even though it's not their fault. Alternatively, as of 2.1, people can "abuse" the kick system and kick one agreed upon person, then everybody leaves after that, thus going around the lockout.

Why not a Forfeit option? A simple vote system, much like vote kick, that will end if the majority of people believe that the fight can not be completed with the current setup. To avoid abuse of the system and having people Forfeit immediately, the option should only be available after either:

1. A certain number of attempts eg. 5 attempts.

or

2. A time period eg. 25-30 minutes.

This allows the group to make a few attempts at the duty and work out any kinks before making the decision. I would suggest the time limit as I find it would be easy enough to just cause 5 wipes in succession or someone to troll a party just to enable the Forfeit option.

I feel this is a great add-on to the Duty Finder system as it allows people to not be solely penalized for a group effort and any mismatches of the Duty Finder system itself (especially with changes to the Limit Break system).
