Finished the EX modes today. Curious if there are any plans to make it like the relic weapon (zenith +1) or this is pretty much it for that. Which would make Alllagan, Relic +1, and the EX Primals the top tire weapons in the game at the moment. Just missing Allagan for my BLM.
Thoughts? Will they be upgrade-able?

When FFXI announces it's shutdown in the future, they should have a special event for 30 days where everyone is maximum level on all jobs and everyone has GM Gear with GM weapons on all Jobs and 9,999,999,999,999 gil and then they shut down. -

highly doubtful, the weapons have no story background or anything to make them special like relics
If anything they're just testing a different style of loot distribution
can do the content all you want for minor rewards and get tokens to choose your own major reward on a cooldown
if the designers decide it's working well you may see a weekly quest for tokens from each boss and no lockout on future dungeons -

No lockout on coil would be wonderful. I don't care about loot, I just hate it when half of my friends are on turn 1 and the other half are on turn 4.

i think relics name change was so they can upgrade them without the ugly +1,+2,+3 they could also name them after something else.
