Loop music?
This game is great and the music is beyond epic. Which is also why I don't understand that there isn't a setting to loop music (like for example in WoW). I've been playing for a few days now and I noticed the music sometimes just stops or fades out and there have been times of SILENCE (simply no music playing at all) for longer then 30minutes.
I really enjoy music in MMORPG's and games in general, especially if it's nice and fitting music. It's just better for the immersion and atmosphere. For example there's an RPG called Two Worlds 2, that's pretty mediocre, but it got me hooked for ages just because of the awesome soundtrack.
It's just such a shame that this game doesn't allow players to loop the music. Or am I missing something? Heck I'd even settle with some .ini tweaking or something if that was possible. If not, final resort would probably to get the soundtrack and run it on the background while playing. :x

I want this very badly, so man dungeons have great tracks that get replaced by generic dungeon music after 15 seconds, it's such a waste.

Unfortunately, that's been requested since the Beta and Soken (the composer and sound director for the game) has repeatedly said it's 'working as intended' - the way music is executed in the game, especially in dungeons, is to provide ambiance to the setting and not overpower it. It's been constantly requested by players to allow music to loop like old-school FF titles though, but I can understand Soken's way of thinking as well (after all, FFXI suffered from zone music becoming horribly repetitive so it's probably something SE are trying to get away from).

Hmm fair enough, maybe I'll get used to it and it won't bother me as much. Will see
