Auto-Protect

Like to see Whms get auto protect & stoneskin everytime they enter a dungeon or fight or restart a fight after a wipe. Would make playing healer much more enjoyable not having to reapply those buffs all the time after a wipe. Have it trigger when players are stuck within the circle barrier at the beginning of every dunegon or fight.

Yes, no? Good feature to have?

Could care less at the moment. I don't even play the job. Once I got all my relics I just stayed on my 2 mains. Didn't know that theres a marco that does it auto for you already so kinda beats why people bashing my post since its kinda already in the game. If healers don't mind how it is then I have no issues with it.

uh... protect is, what, a 2 second cast? You really that short on time?

Coming from EQ1, I am often baffled and shocked by the very very short recovery time from a wipe.

In EQ if a raid wipes, it takes 15-30 minute to get back to where you were and to regain mana and rebuff. In FFXIV its 15-30 seconds. I know they are different games completely, but the easier you make it to recovery from a death the more people will be ok with dying.

Its about improving gameplay but saying its lazy is just stupid.

Auto is too much but AOE Stoneskin should be a spell you can cast when you don't have aggro.

How is making everything automatic improving "gameplay"? Gameplay implies that you are PLAYING. If you cant be arsed to manually cast a few buffs, taking about 10-30 seconds total(based on 4-man or 8-man content), then you are LAZY. Call it stupid all you want, you're still just looking to not have to buff. Its so easy in this game.

Its not exactly just whm but all jobs that alwas pre buff before going into combat. Its only really whm & sch would be most effected by this. This would fix having to wait for buffs. Making whm & sch only having to reapply buffs in mid combat if they need to.

If you dont like it can tell everyone to take off there buffs everytime you enter and so you can reapply them yourself.
