Cant compleat The Navel

Been doing The Navel so many times now i lost Count :confused:
I cant compleat the dang thing :mad:

Is it just me or is the dungeon really hard?
If it is me who suck at playing this dungeon can anyone give me advice to survive?

I have been googling looking up stratagy and been watching youtube videos so i know what to do but still i keep dieing! :(

Really need to compleat this stupid dungeon so i can get on with my main quest and get my summoner spell...

There's two common reasons for dying in that fight:

Did you manage to kill the heart in time to avoid the huge attack Titan deals if it stays there too long? As soon as the Heart appears, it has to be top priority to take down.

And did you stay out of AoE areas? (Note: Most of the AoE damage areas in this fight are marked by lots of red glowing lava cracks in the ground rather than the usual solid reddish ground surface.)

Oh, one other possibility. How's your gear? Like a lot of content, going in under-geared makes it far harder. Lots of problems can be solved just by getting a weapon or armor upgrade.

Do you know specifically what is killing you? What the poster above said is good advice though too.

I did this close to when the game launched, with a group of people who had no idea what to do, but with each death we said "Well, that's a new thing to do." It took us many, many wipes, and almost to out of time, but we stuck with it and did it. The most important thing is to avoid every bad thing on the ground, don't try to soak the damage and think the healer can save you, most are insta-kill or knock you off which kills you. Kill the heart as soon as you can when that phase starts or it's a wipe. That's all there really is to it, and learning by doing.

Zoom out and don't fight locked-on, for one. L1+Down on the left joystick if you are on a gamepad to zoom out.

If you are getting knocked off the arena, my advice is to watch Titan closely. He will very visibly turn around before marking the ground for Landslide, the move that will knock you back, and it will give you a good half-second or so to get out of the way.

Sorry forgot to add that i upgraded all my gear to match my level (39)

A few times we (random Group) got to the heart and did max dps on it but we died either because healer could not keep up or people got kicked off by line attack (including me) or he did the wipe AOE in the end.

Most of the time we die on the AOE and seeing the line attack to late to react in time...we talked alot about lag...

In general i had a feeling we allways was to low on dps or the healer did not heal in time.

Not sure what you mean by that...

When he jumps i saw on youtube that you can go to the edge and stand with one foot on the red line.
Which 50% of the time i get kicked off and fall.
If i go closer to the middle i get much dmg from when he lands.

Is the AOE jumping he does not dmg all over the ground?

One group we all stayed until the time ran out.
But most of the time people stay for a few wipes and then either tank or healer leaves the group and i am to sit and wait 1½+ hour for the next group.


In a few groups i also tryed to assist on healing witch allways ended with me got the line attack because i could not heal people and look after my self.

Don't keep any feet on the line. Just stand as close to it as possible but NOT on it or you WILL get knocked off the edge. Your healer should be healing you back up quickly after he jumps.

edit: Also, my advice for Landslide; If you get stuck in it, run to the middle of the arena so it will be harder to actually fall off the side. Just keep moving forward.

Regardless of anything else, your #1 priority, all the time, is to not get hit by Landslide (the big line attack) or Weight of the Land (Pulsing Circle AOEs). Don't ever try to finish any spell if you're in those. Just run, immediately.

If you're not getting hit with avoidable damage, and you're doing as much DPS as you can, especially on the heart and Gaols, it's down to the rest of your party. If you're using Duty Finder, you'll just have to wait until you get a group that can all also not get hit and keep up with both DPS and heals. You might have better luck finding people on your server to help.
