Crystal Tower Bug - Teleports dont work and unable to join last fight

I tried joining a crystal tower run in progress for the first time on my scholar today, and after the Thanatos fight I immediately discovered that none of the teleporters or shortcuts were working and the loading barriers didn't exist at all.

I could communicate with my party and tell them what was going on, but since there's no way to the upper floor without the loading barrier I was locked out of the last fight AND the duty didn't complete for me at all. When they were finished fighting Acheron, the combat music continued even as people left the instance. No myth, no philo and I had to abandon the duty and wait 30 minutes to try again.

What am I supposed to do if this happens a second time? I mean, I'll drop to save the group some trouble of course, but does that mean this character is permanently screwed up or what?
