Hello, I have just installed the Final Fantasy XIV Game, registered and made my account; Although when I try to play the game, the game screen automatically says "Final Fantasy has stopped working" and it closes shortly after.
I was wondering if anyone could assist me, as I have no clue what to do or try next.

What is your graphics card?
If you are not getting anything when you try to open the game it sounds like your card might not be strong enough.
Download the benchmark program and try to run that... if that does not run your computer is not strong enough to play ffxiv.
Outside that you can try drivers. -

Try updating your video card drivers and make sure that you have the latest version of directx.

I also have the AMD Phenom II x6 Black Edition that's got all 6 cores unlocked and is also overclocked at 3.76Ghz. My computer runs this game at near max settings with nice smooth video (even in Uldah (where EVERYBODY is) on Figaro server) My average transfer rates are: 87 - 120/250 - 455.Quote:
